Bridal Bookings - Peak Season Booking Minimums, 
Date Exclusions, Deposits,

PEAK SEASON BOOKING MINIMUMS & DATE EXCLUSIONS
On Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays from 1st April to 30th September, there is a two person minimum booking required including the Bride.
The Winter Rate and unless otherwise stated; any Special Offer rate for weddings between 
1st October and 31st March exclude Bank Holidays between those dates, Easter Saturday if on or before 31st March and the period from 22nd December to 2nd January inclusively. 
There is also a two person minimum booking required including the Bride on excluded dates.

DEPOSITS
A non refundable deposit of £30 per bride & £15 per additional person is required to secure ANY Wedding Day booking, including last minute bookings within 14 days of your wedding date.  An additional non refundable deposit of £15 per person is required to secure trials for Bridesmaids and Mums.

INVOICES & PAYMENTS
The price of your booking is fixed from the moment you pay your non-refundable deposit. Therefore, if a new offer or pricing structure is released, this will not be applied to your booking if your non-refundable deposit has already been paid.  All prices are inclusive of VAT (where applicable) at the current rates and are correct at the time of entering the information onto the system. 
One invoice per Bridal Party will be issued. My contract is with person who makes the booking (usually the bride). That person is responsible for all payments being made by their due date and for any cancellation fees (See below: Your Right to Cancel – Bridal Bookings Only) regardless of who in the party they apply
The Bridal Trial element of any booking must be paid for in full on the day the trial takes place. The amount due is detailed on your invoice and will be notified to you in advance of your appointment. Your deposit may not be used in payment or part there of for a trial. 
The remaining balance must be paid no later than 14 days before the date of your wedding. If your bridal booking is to take place within 14 days of the date of agreement, full payment of your balance is due on completion of your trial appointment. 
You are strongly advised to ensure you are covered by a Bridal Insurance Policy as unfortunately no refunds can be given in the event you cancel your booking or part thereof within 14 days of your wedding. (See below: Your Right to Cancel – Bridal Bookings Only) 
Payments for all bookings can be made by bank transfer or in cash. As of 1st January 2013, cheques are no longer accepted.

TRIAL INFORMATION
Bridal Trial appointments are available  on Tuesdays and Thursdays, & Friday mornings where available and take place at the Studio. 

ARTIST ALLOCATION
Your Bridal make-up artist will be allocated to you at the point of booking. Up to 2 artists are available for larger bookings on a first come first served basis.
In the event of one or both of them becoming unavailable on your wedding day through unforeseen circumstances, GirlyGlam Make-Up Artistry reserves the right to provide your bridal service through another trained and fully briefed therapist. This is not guaranteed however and in the event GirlyGlam Make-Up Artistry is unable to supply another therapist, a full refund will be given within 14 days. 

Your Right to Cancel - Bridal Bookings Only

In accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and more specifically The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 which replaced the previous Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000, and the Cancellation of Contracts made in a Consumer's Home or Place of Work etc Regulations 2008 for all contracts made since 13 June 2014, please note that cancellation provisions do not apply to contracts to provide  services related to leisure activities, if the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance. Therefore, with regard to wedding bookings, GirlyGlam considers it is exempted from part 3 of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (The right to cancel).
   

CANCELLATIONS UP TO 14 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR WEDDING DATE

Whilst GirlyGlam considers it is exempted from Part 3 of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (The right to cancel) in the event you need to cancel your bridal booking between the date of agreement and 14 days prior to your wedding date, GirlyGlam Make-Up Artistry will offer a refund of monies paid minus non-refundable deposit, trial element if trial has taken place, any applicable fuel charges from the artists home to your location and any applicable parking charges as detailed on your invoice. 

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise


CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS WITHIN 14 DAYS OF YOUR WEDDING DATE 

A Minimum of 14 Days notice is required if you need to cancel or change the date of your Bridal booking. A minimum of 14 Days notice is also required if  you need to cancel or change any part of your booking. 

The full amount of your Bridal booking will payable by you if 14 days notice is not given.  


CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS OF BRIDAL TRIALS

At least 48 hours notice is required if you need to cancel or change your Bridal trial appointment. The full cost of any treatment will be charged if 48 hours is not given. 

If you fail to show or cancel your trial appointment within 48 hours, the full cost of any treatment will be charged.
If part of a trial appointment is cancelled or changed after arrival, the full cost of the treatment(s) as booked will remain payable.

As GirlyGlam Make-Up Artistry is unable to judge reasons for change, cancellation or non-arrival, clients are reminded that no exceptions to the above conditions will be made and that any booking made and secured with a non-refundable deposit with GirlyGlam Make-Up Artistry (verbal or written) forms a legally binding contract.


HOW TO CANCEL OR CHANGE YOUR APPOINTMENT

Cancellations should be made by calling on 07547432000.

If you are cancelling outside of normal operating hours (Monday to Friday 9am-5pm not including Bank Holidays) - you may cancel by emailing [email protected] however, this should be followed up by telephone during operating hours. 

Non Bridal Bookings - Booking Minimums, Date Exclusions, Deposits, Payments (inc Final Payment),  Trials & Artist Allocation  

BOOKING MINIMUMS & DATE EXCLUSIONS
A minimum spend of £45 (not including travel fees) applies to all bookings more than 20 miles from the artists home.
Unless otherwise stated, any Special Offers for non bridal bookings between 1st October and 31st March excludes Bank Holidays between those dates, Easter Saturday if on or before 31st March and the period from 22nd December to 2nd January inclusively. 

DEPOSITS
- A non refundable deposit of £15 per person is required to secure all non-bridal Make-Up and/or Hair bookings (including trial appointments) between 1st January and 30th November. 
- A non refundable deposit of £10 per person is required to secure all One to One Private Tuition Sessions, Make-Up Demonstrations and any lash treatment valued over £30 between 1st January and 30th November. 
- A non refundable deposit of £50 per person is required to secure the In-Depth Personal Tuition Package at any time.
- A non refundable deposit of 50% of the total invoice is required to secure all non-bridal treatments during December (with the exception of the In-Depth Personal Tuition Package). 

INVOICES & PAYMENTS

The remaining balance of any non bridal Make-Up and/or Hair booking, Tuition or Make-Up Demonstration must be paid by the date specified at the time of booking.
The remaining balance of any other non bridal treatment  must be paid on completion of appointment.
Payments for all bookings can be made by bank transfer or in cash. As of 1st January 2013, cheques are no longer accepted.

TRIAL INFORMATION
Trial appointments are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays, & Friday mornings where available and take place at the Studio.

Your Right to Cancel - Non Bridal Bookings Only

With the exception of Make-Up Demonstrations and services booked within 14 days of Prom, Halloween and New Year’s Eve which are deemed by GirlyGlam Make-Up Artistry to be exempted from Part 3 of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (The right to cancel) which states that cancellation provisions do not apply to contracts to provide services related to leisure activities, if the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance.


CANCELLATIONS WITHIN 14 DAYS OF BOOKING YOUR APPOINTMENT  (Excluding date exemptions)

You have the right to cancel your non bridal booking within 14 days without giving any reason.

The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the date of the contract.

To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement (e.g. A letter sent by post to GirlyGlam Make-Up Artistry, 20 Avenue Road, Gorleston on Sea, Norfolk, NR31 6NZ or email to [email protected]) followed up by telephone during operating hours on 07547432000. 

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired. 

Upon cancellation by you within the cancellation period, GirlyGlam Make-Up Artistry will offer a refund of monies paid minus non-refundable deposit (if applicable), trial fees if a trial has taken place, appointment fees if appointment has already taken place and any applicable fuel charges from the artists home to your location and any applicable parking charges as detailed on your invoice.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise.


CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS WITHIN 48 HOURS OF YOUR APPOINTMENT

Outside of the 14 day cancellation period the following terms and conditions apply:

At least 48 hours notice is required if you need to cancel or change any appointment. The full cost of any treatment will be charged if 48 hours is not given. 

If you fail to show or provide an address for your appointment within 48 hours, the full cost of any treatment will be charged.
If part of a booking is cancelled or changed after arrival, the full cost of the treatment(s) as booked will remain payable.
If your appointment is taking place in a Hotel or Guest House, please arrange permission for your appointment to take place on their premises. Failure to do this and subsequent entry refusal, will be regarded as a no show and the full cost of your treatment will be payable.

Clients who fail to give the correct notice to change or cancel their appointment twice in a row, will no longer be offered an appointment and will lose any deposit or booking fee paid



As GirlyGlam Make-Up Artistry is unable to judge reasons for change, cancellation or non-arrival, clients are reminded that no exceptions to the above conditions will be made and that any booking made and secured with a non-refundable deposit with GirlyGlam Make-Up Artistry (verbal or written) forms a legally binding contract.

My Rights including My Right to Cancel & Late/Non Payment Action

GirlyGlam Make-Up Artistry reserves the right to: Modify or withdraw, temporarily or permanently, this website (or any part thereof) with or without notice to you and shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification to or withdrawal of the website. 
Change to the conditions from time to time, and your continued use of the website (or any part thereof) following such change shall be deemed to be your acceptance of such change.
It is your responsibility to check regularly to determine whether the conditions have been changed. If you do not agree to any change to the conditions then you must immediately stop using the website and/or its services.  

MY RIGHT TO CANCEL
In the event of GirlyGlam Make-Up Artistry becoming unavailable through unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered an alternative appointment. If this is not possible, GirlyGlam Make-Up Artistry reserves the right to provide your service through another trained and fully briefed therapist.
This is not guaranteed however and in the event GirlyGlam Make-Up Artistry is unable to supply another therapist, a full refund will be given within 14 days. 
Please ensure you provide your full contact details - which will enable contact in the event of any change relating to your appointments. Where possible, please provide both land line and mobile telephone numbers. 
Please note, if you have not provided an address to attend within 24 hours of your appointment, this will be regarded as a no show and cancellations fees as detailed above will apply. 

LATE/ NON PAYMENT ACTION
Late payment fees will be charged to corporate businesses who fail to settle their invoices in full on the payment date agreed at outset. Under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 interest at the rate of 8.5% will be charged. Compensation will also charged upon late payment under section 5A of the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. Under the table of compensation set out in this provision, £40.00 will be charged. 
An admin fee of £10 per letter/ email/ phone call will be charged to personal clients who fail to settle their invoice at the times stated in the Terms & Conditions. 

Lash Extension Adhesive/ Tint Testing,
Travel, Weather, Workspace, Lighting,
Small Children & Pets

LASH EXTENSION ADHESIVE/ TINT TESTING

All new clients must undergo Patch Testing at least 48hrs before any appointment, regardless of whether they have been tested by another therapist with or without the same adhesive/ tint.

All clients who have had a break of more than 3 months since their last set of lashes must be Patch Tested. All newly pregnant clients should have their Patch Test repeated and again after baby is born.

All clients leave with an aftercare card which explains how to care for your lashes. 

If you have any problems within 48hrs following your lash extension appointment, please get in touch so I can arrange to rectify if necessary, at no extra cost.

If you have any problems after this time, this is more likely to be Aftercare related and a reasonable charge for fixing will be made

TRAVEL
GirlyGlam Make-Up Artistry reserves the right to charge a fee for travel and cost of parking.  The first 20 miles of return travel are included in the cost of your treatment. After this a fee of 45p per mile will be charged. Where there is no available free to park areas near your location (in city centres for example) parking costs will be added to your invoice. Where possible you will be notified of cost in advance, but if the information is not available on line prior to your appointment, you will be notified of the relevant cost at your appointment. Please note that where more than one artist is required for your booking, travel expenses may be payable for both depending on location.  
WEATHER
In the event of Inclement weather, appointments with the exception of wedding days and special events may need to be rescheduled so as not to put the artist or client at risk on the roads. Please note that the decision to change an appointment due to adverse weather conditions is not made lightly, and is only considered where temperatures are subzero causing icy roads or if heavy snow is forecast.
SPACE & LIGHTING
If your make-up and/or hair appointment is taking place at your home or venue, please ensure you have adequate space and light to accommodate your artist. A hard back chair or stool of equivalent height plus a table or kitchen counter should be made available, along with access to plug sockets. 
CHILDREN & PETS
With regard to small children and pets,  the products and equipment that the artist carries with them are very valuable, more seriously some may be toxic if ingested. Please note that during your appointment, responsibility and control of your child or pet lies solely with you, the client. As such GirlyGlam Make-Up Artistry takes will accept no responsibility for loss, damage or accident in these circumstances. Furthermore, damage to products and equipment caused  by children and pets will have to be paid for by the client. 
If your make-up and/ or hair appointment is taking place at the Studio, please be aware that I can only accommodate 2 adults plus myself at any one time.  Unfortunately children cannot be accommodated at the studio.

Complaints Procedure.

If you are in any way dissatisfied with any aspect of your experience, please put this in writing. GirlyGlam Make-Up Artistry will try its utmost to resolve any problems.
