Our Story - GirlyGlam Make-Up Artistry
GirlyGlam Make-Up Artistry & Hair Styling was founded in 2010 by Zoe Hunter; a Freelance Professional Make-Up Artist based near Great Yarmouth in Norfolk.
Specialising in Bridal Make-Up & Hair-Up, accomplished artists Zoe and Jeahan are available for events across Norfolk & Suffolk. GirlyGlam also provides Make-Up & Hair-Up for School Proms and other special occasions. In addition, Zoe herself offers AH Francis Semi Permanent Lash Extensions, a full Brow Treatment package including eyelash tinting and private make-up lessons all in the comfort of your own home or chosen venue. Zoe has taught the ITEC Make-Up Qualification at the prestigious Norwich Beauty School (formerly Jackie Hamilton School of Beauty) in Norwich and more recently has been a regular contributor to the Beauty Q&A section of Your East Anglian Wedding Magazine.
Jeahan is a professional makeup artist and hairstylist with an ITEC qualification in both Makeup and Creative Hair Design. Originally from the Philippines, Jeahan comes from a family of musicians and award winning artists. Her inclination to the creative arts is anything but foreign. Her influences are a fusion of the East and West.
In 2011, Jeahan changed plans of doing her postgraduate studies that year, and chased her passion instead - to make people feel beautiful and see the beauty in themselves. She decided to formalize her makeup skills and trained at The Norwich Beauty School (formerly Jackie Hamilton School of Beauty) in Norwich. Not long after, she trained in hairstyling as well. Since then, she has been involved in numerous fashion shows and events including A Most Curious Wedding, Flores de Mayo and charity events like the KAOS Fashion Show. She is a regular artist at Norwich Fashion Week, having provided make-up and hair for this event for several years now. Jeahan is also published and has several Front Covers under her belt - including the EDP (Eastern Daily Press) and Norwich Resident. During the Autumn on 2016, in addition to her private clients, Jeahan will be teaching Creative Hair sessions at The Norwich Beauty School.
Jeahan keeps her knowledge fresh and in-tune with the growing industry by continuously developing new skills. She believes in seeing beyond trends and in creating effortless makeup that reflects her client’s personal style, which is translated in her work. She finds inspiration in life and the stories behind people.
